I am a Yiddishist, historian, writer, and educator based in Metro Detroit, Michigan.
Since graduating Wayne State University in 2022 with a B.A. in History and a minor in Judaic Studies, I have become heavily involved with Jewish cultural and historical work in Detroit, for which I was profiled in The Detroit Jewish News in 2023 and named a Detroit Jewish News "36 Under 36" Laureate that same year.
I am engaged in new and exciting research regarding the individuals and institutions who promoted Yiddish culture, language, literature, and theater in early 20th century Detroit. My work has been published in In geveb, an online journal of Yiddish studies, in Nu?Detroit, and in the historical journal Michigan Jewish History.
Since 2023 I have been on the board of directors of the Jewish Historical Society of Michigan, and as of June 2024 I serve as a Vice President of the organization.
Thank you!
